Sedona glow plug change/oil service

Hello all,

i'm posting on behalf of my cousin who has a 2000 sedona, and wants to change the glow plugs and the oil & filter. I haven't had a chance to look myself yet but thought that the internet is a mine of info and found this forum.

Could you give me any advice on the above, potential snags etc???

Also the capacity of the engine in terms of oil, and any recommendations. I was going to go for either Castrol GTX Diesel, or the diesel Magnatec equivalent depending on how much he wants to spend/ how many litres it takes!!

i am new to the sedona as i have only just got a 2.9 sx tdi auto

dont quote me but it takes 6l
an has now glow plugs (heater chamber )

i think this is correct
