Default Heart stopping moment today

Just got on the M40 this morning towing my caravan from Hurley back up to Manchester.
There was a few HGVs I needed to overtake so I pulled out and floored it....
All of a sudden there was a big pop and a loud hissing coming from under the bonnet ( but no lights coming on the dash etc ). I gently guided it into the hard shoulder fearing the worse...

Turns out the hose at the back of the intercooler blew off. Anyway, 30 seconds to dig out a screwdriver and it was back on again.

Good to hear it was nothing too serious.
