Smile Sedona diesel tuning

Has anyone tried these 'plug and play' boxes from this website, I bought the sedona to tow my caravan, but this unit would seem to make towing a joy rather than a chore.

Diesel Tuning Performance No1

Love to hear any feedback from anyone who has tried or got one of these units fitted.

Mine is a 2005 2.9 diesel.
Cheers
Iian

Hmmm. Seems similar to quite a lot of things around these days....

Some I've seen are just cheap resistors that make the engine run a bit richer. Good for performance obviously, but not good for fuel efficiency or long term engine wear....

Just saw the price

I dont think I'd be keen at this price unless it was GUARANTEED to work !!!!

believ this a box that widens the injector pulse that therfore squirts slightly more fuel, hence better power.

i did this, if you floor it it goes to 20 mpg if you don't it goes to 29.9 mpg

mine stopped working after a while and I noticed a load of oil coming out of the engine breather. I think it increases the diesel fuel pressure thus delivering more fuel and thus more power / torque. from 147 bhp to 170 bhp.
