Question Aussie Grand Carnival 07 Price ??

I am about to buy a GC base model but really am not sure what is a good deal.

Quite often the $4000 on the road costs is thrown in but at the moment the dealers I'm speaking to wont even come down that far. ( Are those promotions subsidised by Kia Australia )

Last month it was a bonus safety pack.

Anyone achieve any good pricing in the last month or so. I'm in Perth so if theres any locals it would be good to here from them.

I work in an electrical background and we get stupid prices as far as percentage off is concerned and I cant believe theres only a couple of grand in a $40,000 car.

Thanks
Ugo

Wait untill around august to september they do their driveaway deals.

BTW the new car market is just about to fall in a hole in Australia and I reckon in 3 months they will move 'heaven and earth' to sell a car.

Here in Canberra a couple of weeks ago GCs were going at Drive-away prices of around $39 000-00 - $40 000-00. SWB Carnivals were at $34 000-00 Drive-away. These were '06 plated models. The time to buy is either End-of-Financial-Year Sales or in January when they're trying to clear previus year models.

Now theres some good ideas coming.
I think I will wait until June / July to see if anything happens.

Although the above $45K including extras does sound quite good.

The last week or so I've been checking out the taragos , although expensive the longer I wait for the GC to drop the more I think about an '04 tarago.
