Default Tpwbars and parking sensors

Hi,
we've just put down a deposit on what can only be described as an excellent example of the Sedona.
It's a 'Dec03 LE , only 29000 miles, with loads of extras including DVD system and sat nav.
It also has reversing sensors, which brings me on to the question----
I need to fit a towbar but am concerned that it will obstruct the parking sensors. Any advice will be gratefully received as i don't want to disable the sensors. Is it possible, for example, to bypass any sensors that made be immediately behind the towbar or would removable neck towbar be the only suggestion?

Its all about positioning and if yours are already fitted equally across the bumper then I suspect they won't work properly ( like mine ).

I put my twin electrics just under the bumper and since my main tow bracket is box section held on by two cross bolts then I can relatively easily remove the bracket when not in use.
...but having gone to all this effort I've ended up leaving it on. My caravan had some damp repairs carried out in December and its been too cold to mess about removing it. I need it back on for Easter anyway so it might as well stay put.

i fitted my own towbar and reversing sensors (aftermarket kit)
you maybe able to disconect the inner sensors,
i did not connect the middle ones up as i used a twin socket holder/bumper-protector plate from towsure .
Dave
towsure is the cheapest for towbars and you need a big drill /dremmel thing

Hi and thanks for the prompt replies. Glad I asked the question so I guess I'll have to pop down to the dealers to have a good look, Can't wait to pick it up next saturday as it will certainly be a more pleasant drive with the kids occupied by the DVD.
Mind you, it will also be very sad to see the back of our trusty long term Mitsubishi Delica.
