Just found this link but may not work if the user isn't subscribed.

I'm going to get my struts refurbished as I already need antiroll bar bushes doing. I'll study my KIA cdrom and work out what other components need buying to make a decent job of it.

Okay , a bit more advice needed. Below is a bill of materials for the struts.
Also attached is the strut schematic drawing.

To refurb them I thought the indented (>) parts would be needed.
Can someone please confirm / edit .
Thanks

I tried to get the strut mounts in the US TSB but the UK dealers have drawn a complete blank. My local dealer can not get the part and when I asked KIA technical via email they jumped straight on the defensive :-

Re: Kia Sedona - XXXXXX
Thank you for your e-mail received on 19 February 2007 addressed to Mr XXXXX, Technical Manager for Kia Motors (UK) Ltd. Mr XXXXX has asked me to respond on his behalf, but I can assure you that he has been kept informed throughout the investigation of your case, as this is Customer Service policy. Mr XXXXX will be receiving a copy of this letter for his records.
Kia Motors (UK) Ltd has not previously experienced the fault you have reported. Had Kia Motors Corporation believed that any of the European vehicles may have been affected, then a bulletin would have been issued throughout our European market. As the bulletin was specifically for the North American market it does not apply to vehicles in the UK.
Further investigation with our Parts Department has shown that since the Sedona has been available within the UK, only a very small number of front strut mounts have ever been ordered and supplied to UK Kia dealerships. This is the clearest indication that there is no such fault on UK specification Sedona's.
Until a factory trained, Kia dealer technician has inspected the vehicle and diagnosed what fault, if any, is causing the symptoms you describe, we cannot speculate further. As such, I would recommend booking the vehicle into a Kia dealership at your earliest convenience.
I am sorry I could not be of any more assistance on this occasion, and hope the above has clarified our position.
Yours sincerely

My Sedona sounds like its driving over a cattle grid even for the smallest ripples in the road. But it looks like if I'm going to sort it I might have to buy some mounts from the U.S.....

Am I on my own in the UK about experiencing noisey suspension like Snowman ? Are all other UK drivers driving Sedonas with magic carpet rides ?

Parts get superceeded, they don't always change the part number, ordering the std part will probably mean you get the latest specification of mount.

its a bit of risk though as it possible to get old stock.

Murph, can you give me some pointers on the parts in the above post that would be worth replacing to refurb the struts ?
