Is this a New problem on the way?

Little squeal or more correctly aan 'eeeeak' sound as I lift the clutch after changing gears. Sometimes it does it sometimes not? I think its more prominebt in 2nd and possibly 3rd.

Default noise hunting

finding the source of any noise can be very frustrating but a suggestion fo you is to lubricate the pedal mounting points ohh and a silly idea try different shoes as believe it or not i had a similar problem with a car and it was my shoes on the pedal rubber (but only when wet)
good luck glenn

My Sedonka needed a clutch last year at 104k miles. It never displayed any signs, just a high bite point and slight slip. But since we were planning to tow 1.5 tons of twin axle caravan we choose to get it sorted before the hols season.

My Citroen Xsara does make a clutch squeek noise if I'm quick off the mark with it. I assume its the various springs in the friction plate. Its been doing it for 18000 miles though, just in case you think a problem is on the horizon
