On my car the ECM does not control the switching of the A/C but only monitors it to increase the idle speed when the A/C compressor is on.

The A/C is interlocked with the interior fan being on, temperature switch on the evaporator (stops icing) and a pressure switch near the gas drier.

I will search for the wiring for my car which should be similar to yours, and at least give you an idea what to look for.

For service info register (free) with KiaTechInfo and click on 'Shop' on the left, and for elect schematics click on 'ETM'.

Quality and not quantity counts.

LH drive sedonas must be different as my service manual shows control of both cooling fan relays and the A/C control unit and the A/C cutoff relay is done by the ECM for both the V6 and the diesel engines.
There is a lot of relays and power supplies involved with the heating and cooling system but the main control is thru the ecm.
