Hi!

I need to disconnect the battery on my 1999 Carnival TDi. The cold Swedish winter in combination with my short trips to the office have made their tribute.

Is it safe to disconnect the battery?

I have heard stories about people who can't start their car after they have replaced the battery because of the immobiliser.

Cheers
