Well, I’ve just found out by accident that my 2004 Sedona LE has heated door mirrors!
I certainly was not told by the sales staff when it was new, and I wouldn’t have known yet, if it hadn’t been for the recent snow and ice. Of course we’ve had snow and ice before, but for some reason, this was the first time that I put the heated rear window on. That’s the key, because the mirrors are wired up with the heated rear window, so unless the rear window is switched on at the dash, the heated mirrors won’t be on either.
Am I alone here in my naivety, or are there others of you out there who didn’t know about the heated mirrors? 30 seconds and they were totally clear of ice and snow in temperatures of –5. I can’t believe that I didn’t know. Ignorance is bliss I guess.
it took a moan from me here, for someone to point it out a while back.. but hey yeah, although a heated windscreen would be nice... even my dads granada back in 1983 had a heated windscreen, which also double up as an ariel..

The windscreen wouldn't been the aerial, rear screen though
Pilkington own the rights to the concept of Heated windscreen, they supply Ford and Land rover, the only 2 makers I can think of that offer heated front screens.
And wrt the heated front screens.. Not a big fan, I can see the wavy wires in them and my eyes keep wanting to focus on them. It's especially bad in bright sunlight as you get a rainbow effect round them when the sun hits them right.
