I was just wondering what a sedona could manage to do speed-wise?

I'm sure some of you have had one of those moments when sometimes - very occasionally, of course, your sedona/friends sedona/courtesy sedona may have gone that little bit quicker than usual when the road is completely empty, dry and you're on a straight declining road and the sedona has quite naturally picked up a little momentum ... anyway, that moment before you notice and react accordingly in adherence to our country's fine and just road laws ... what have you recorded? or is that a tabboo subject to ask on here?

I was just curious and thought I'd ask.

I'm not asking anyone to go out and try this, so please don't!

are you the police?

111 mph in an emergency to the hospital with a bleading child in shock sitting in the passenger seat. amazing that if you do flash for a while to warn other drivers to move aside, they do not automatically think you are being an idiot, but there is a reason for it.

book says 114

LoL @ police ... consider yourself booked m'lad ... shocking !

Where mph are concerned, I never believe anything I read in a book! That one's been tried and tested hence my reason for asking.

Hope said child was fixed up ok.

I've had mine up to 160kph(100mph)on a 800klm trip last year. For some reason the car wanted to cruise at 140kph,had to keep slowing down as the speed limit was 110kph.On the trip we averaged just under 900klm for per tank of fuel.Luckily I didn't get caught by any speed cameras on the Pacific hwy(there everywhere).

For those who have had it up to 100+ mph, what do the RPM's look like at that speed?

Inky it depends in which engine you have, over here in the UK most of us have the 2.9 diesel and at about 110 its getting round towards the 4000, with the red line cut out starting at 4100 RPM.

Not that I'd know anything about that sort of speed disclaimer.

I know that feeling I picked up an Alfa Romeo 164 24v cloverleaf off Ebay for a £1000 a couple of years back for a trip to Germany, if the brakes had been as good as the engine I would still have it now. they would get you down from 155+ down to about 50 then after that you were on your own!!!!!!
