I have a 03 sedona. The abs, brake and airbag light came on at the same time. When i come to stop the abs and brake light go off, but as i accel. they come back on. I have 68000 miles on it. I took to kia and they stated that the alternator was overcharging and need to replace with "updated" alternator--$720.00!!!! Not covered under warrenty because it's over 60.000 miles. Called kia hot-line and argued that they knew a problem existed because they have an "updated" alternator. Kia said they will get back to me. What should i do? Anybody else have probs like this?
Any help is appreciated.

I am wondering whether this is possibly why several people have complained about their batteries exploding?
