Mine is about due for a change. I'm going to start using Amsoil synthetic and a (to-be-decided) quality filter (which definitely excludes anything made by Fram).

I recomend Royal Purple IMO, and as a filter I agree with Inky on the filter, but since I have had my vehicle for 2 days, I can't recommend one.

Royal Purple? Hadn't hear of it before now. Gonna look into it more before my next oil change. What can you tell me about it? Compared to other synthetics?

Another one who will NEVER touch FRAM filters here, worst filters I've ever known!
