My turn for a little *dog out*

One week after the 10k inspection, I returned *Thug* to the garage to get a new starter motor installed ... was informed that I would have to re-book him in as the part had not turned up!

I can't normally fault the garage where I take him but surely a week is sufficient for Kia parts coming in? ... or is there something I don't know??

It's not a big deal, just a little inconvenient (I can usually start him up as the fault is intermittent only) so he's re-booked in for next week (phoning the garage before I set off next time).

Anyway, I just wanted to get that off my chest.

Usually a dealer can place a stock order before 3pm and it arrives the next day, or it's possible to VOR part up to 5pm for next day delivery.
The system relies on human input so this makes it posible for mistakes to be made, not unheard of for a part to not turn up
