I AM THINKING OF BUYING A SEDONA COMBO. IN THE NEW YEAR, I CARRY A BIT OF WEIGHT IN SAMPLES FOR WORK, AVERAGE 22,000 MILES P.A. AND HAVE A SMALL FAMILY. JUST LOOKING FOR A BIT OF ADVICE.

WHAT IS THE BEST ENGINE SIZE FOR PERFORMANCE?
IS THE AUTOMATIC GEAR BOX ANY GOOD?
CAN ANYBODY TELL ME HOW THE SEDONA DID IN THE NCAP TEST?
ANY GENERAL PROBLEMS I SHOULD KNOW?
THANKS.

Petrol versions tend to be very thirsty. Below 20mpg average.

I have a manual diesel UK spec which does 30 to 35mpg. Lots of low down grunt, not the quickest 0-60 but not the slowest. I tow with mine which it does with ease. Just have to be careful on slippy roads as the torquey engine tends to make the wheels spin very easily.

NCAP only 2.5 stars slightly below average for a big MPV but good side impact resistance. It is a heavy beast though.

Done 3500 miles in mine from new with no problems so far (touch wood).
