<_< Have just put my order in for a new LS Carnival and expect to take delivery in a week or so. Judging from the comments on the forum there are a number of owners with problems but I am assuming that only the owners with problems write into the forum therefore judging by the number of Carnivals on the road there must be many happy owners. ( I hope ! )

I am trying to find a service manual for the vehicle, does any one know if there is one available on the web ?

Thanks
Wiseman

I own an '04 Sedona EX with 5K miles so far and have had no problems. I know several other Sedona owners who are very happy. In the past I've owned Hondas and Toyotas and I believe the quality of the Sedona is as good.

I picked up my new Carnival last Thursday and I am really impressed with it. I have the auto ( petrol) and do find that it changes gear up and down a lot more than I am used to but the gear changes are all very smooth. Parking will take a bit of getting use too but I presume that this will come with practise. Any way with less than 200klm on the clock it is too early for me to make any real comment but so far I am very happy.

Had my KIA Sedona for about a month now, and am up at 2500kms. Not a single problem, runs just as good as the day I took it off the dealers lot.

There's not a single thing I don't like about it so far, which really suprises me (as I can usually find something to complain about).

The only thing that I noticed isn't working properly is the DTE (Distance To Empty) guage started reporting the wrong distance yesterday.

Hi Wiseman,

I live in Melbourne and have had our new Carnival since July 04. It has done about 8k kms with no problems at all. I don't have any info on a service manual but it appears that the basics are in the owners handbook - what is done at what service interval etc. I am sure that any licenced mechanic can service your car for you and maintain your warranty. We spoke to several Carnival owners before buying ours (saw them at our kids footy club etc) and they were all happy. The early ones built in 1999 appear to have had the engine problems and they were fixed by Kia. I understand that the later V6 engines are a different design that does not have the oil problems. It is a lot more powerful and comfortable than our old 1988 Tarago that we traded in.
