Unhappy Power window sticks

Hey I have a 2005 Kia Sedona, the drivers side window sticks and is pretty annoying.

The fuse is good, the switch is working, the motor seems to work but dos not seem strong enough or consistent enough to routinely open and close it.

I am wondering if something is wrong with the track, (perhaps lubrication), if the motor has a problem in the gearing, or what?

I am trying to fix this now and would appreciate any assistance.

So, impatient as I am I tried this.

Thinking that the motor, switch, and fuse worked and the window was sticking badly causing it many times not to move.

I lubricated the slides and anything I could tell was designed to move, after raising and lowering the window for about 15 minutes it appears that it is working fine.

long term I suspect that the motor may need to be replaced, but for now it is working.

Thumbs up

Silicon spray on the window felts every month or so is a good idea to help windows slide easily. Usually recomended in the owners manual I think.

TAKE YOUR TIME, THINK IT OUT, DO IT RIGHT, DO IT ONCE!! original quote by me as far as I know.
