Default removing the crank bolt and pulley

the easiest wat to get the crank bolt out is to use an impact. the pulley is keyed and should slide off pretty easy way have to lightly pry it with a pry bar

I second KIATec007, you need an impact wrench ('rattle gun'). Many tool hire places have electric ones (and pneumatic ones if you have a compressor).

When I hired one for this same task I found it to be so handy I bought one - see here - a cheapie, but has been great so far.

As you are from the US I'll assume you have the 3.5L engine, in which case the clip below is probably what you are looking for.

This is from the Kia Global Information website www.kiatechinfo.com, in the Service Materials / Service Info (SI) section, under SEDONA(GQ) >2005 > G 3.5 DOHC > Engine Mechanical System. If you haven't already you can easily sign up to the site and obtain access to the complete service manuals for the vehicle.

Cheers,
Peter

Default Making sure you see responses to your questions

If you haven't found this setting in the forum already, I'd suggest setting your account on the forum to Instant Email Notification.

That way, when someone responds to your question you'll get an automatic email notifying you.

To set this, when logged in to the forum, go to Quick Links, then Edit Options, find Default Thread Subscription Mode (about halfway down the page). Change the setting the Instant Email Notification, and go to the bottom of the page and click on Save Changes.
