Default beeping/alarm when turning

I have a 2003 Sedona, when I turn usually to the right I get the beeping sound like the door is open or seatbelt not latched.

I thought perhaps it was because I was turning too fast, but it does it from a complete stop also. I had an alignment done, new tires and oil/fluid changed nothing seems to stop it. I talked to the dealer and they said it would be 275.00 for diagnostics to find out what is going on.

Has anyone else had this issue?

sounds like the door latch is messed up allowing the door to move slightly and which tells the bcm the door is open while you are moving. check that the dooe latch is tight cause i have had them come loose and try really slamming the door and see if it stops.

Welcome to the forum - as soon as you get the time please add your detail to your profile.

Maybe the brake and clutch fluid level switch.

If you're in the US, you could take it to autozone and get the error codes read free of charge.

Quality and not quantity counts.

Thanks I will try the doors, maybe it is the sliding door. Sometimes I have trouble opening that one, so it may not close correctly.

I will take it to AutoZone and have that checked too. The dealer here wanted $175.00 for diagnostics. Which I think is hooking it up to the computer and reading the error codes.

I have the same beep when I turn to the right but it lights up the brake light on the dash too.
