Default The Bitch Is Dead!!

After having some issues see, http://www.kia-forums.com/kia-carniv...hlight=babalas, The mech said it was plug wires, Changed these, ran okay until this morning.
Yesterday it drove well, no overheating or any such problems.
Today I started the THING, reversed then noticed a pool of oil and oil tracking as I reversed. That amount oil = major issues. Stopped, drove forward to original position and only then did the oil low light come on. NO check engine light on. Switched off.
Oil pool where I stopped and changed from reverse to forward.
Dipstick = no oil. Oil filter covered in oil, oil all over Right side of engine bay.
When the rain stops I may have a look, @ this point I may just set it alight!!!

Default Not Really!

I've been inactive for some time, reason = No problems with the car.
The Massive Oil leak was due to Non Kia oil filter!!. I replaced this with a Second New Filter with the same results. A Genuine Kia filter sorted that out!!
No more oil leaks.

Now I have a Coolant leak.
It seems to be from the O ring on the water inlet pipe.
How do I access that area?.

Default Cause of Coolant leak

Coolant leak due to old/ broken plastic pipe... Changed the thermostat whilst in there!

As for oil filter. I wonder why it causes problems. I used two times non KIA filter and had no leaks.

I think it may be due to the Kia filter O-ring/Gasket having a round profile and the Ryco one having a Square edged profile. Other than that they look alike. The genuine Kia one was even cheaper than the Ryco!. I am glad that it did not let go on the motorway or somewhere in the outback...
I had someone shoot this video in case the second Ryco had the same problems as the first. It did.
Here is a link to the video of the second filter going.
