sedona 2.9 tdi pump timing

can anybody help with the timing on my 2.9 tdi 2000 x reg bought it with no head on and i cant find information for timing it up have timed it up with pump at three o clock but it refuses to start

mine is timed up as your diagram but it wont start thanks for diagram i will have to look else where for problem

It has to be dead on .If the engine is in the car it is hard to see the injector pump mark.It shows in the manual as at 3 o'clock but is just past it. If it is 1 or 2 teeth out it either will not start or runs like a dog..I thought I had mine timed right until it wouldn't start and I rechecked it

the camshaft has a locating key but the pulleys have two slots do you know which one i use on both cams
