Default Sedona back door handle broke

OK. So the rear slide doors have a strange sort of handle (on the outside). It seems to swivel on a pin at the front of the handle.

Trouble is the pin seems to have fallen out on mine. Anybody got any ideas on how to actually remove the handle?

Hi

Yeah same thing happened on mine. Seems this might be a weak spot on that model.

You need to remove the door trim then you can see how it is all put together. I used a similar sized bolt to repair mine. That was 2 years ago and it's still holding.

Im just doing the same job on mine.

remove the door trim from the inside (4 screws near the bottom and 1 behind the plastic trim at the top - rh for o/s door lh for n/s).

Pull down the plastic sheet, remove the interior handle mechanism, remove the 3 bolts holding the internal mechanism and it will move enough for you to get at the exterior handle securing bolts (5 of).

you can the extract the handle and repair.
