kia sedona 2.9 tdi starting problem

just rebuilt the engine on my 2.9 tdi now it wont start anybody any ideas why timing is bang on got diesel at injectors but it wont start

I had the same problem when I did my head and broken cam belt. Are you sure that the timing is spot on? It may look like it is timed up correctly but the timing mark for the injector pump is just slightly after 3 o'clock not dead on as the manual shows. Ir doesn't need to be far out to not fire. Does it fire if you use cod start or some other inflammable substance .It should fire and the die by doing this. I would double and triple check the pump timing mark

i have timed pump up with bolt through pump car will start on easy start then die just ordered another pump off e-bay but i dont think its pump cant understand why it wont run it doesnt even try to fire
