Disconnecting the passenger airbag

Hello:-)

I have a 2005 Carnival 2,9 and I need to the disconnect the passanger airbag because I am placing a childseat int the seat. Have loocked behind the glovecompartment, but didn't find any connections that I could disconnect.

Does someone have any idea how to do this?

- When i pull out the fuse the airbag warninglights enlights, but I have heard somewere sometime that this actually isn't enough to disconnect the airbag properly..

when you pull air bag fuse, all air bags will be off. It means none of them deploy in case of accident.
If you do not have a switch to deactivate the passengers air bag - do not put the childseat there.
