Do you get any lights on the dvd player when the engine is running?

Kia may want a £999, but i've seen these go on ebay for less than £100. Closest i can find now is £125 - Rosen A7 DVD

They only hold on with a few screws, you won't need to pay someone to change it!

I had the same problem last week, no picture but you could get the menu to display, I found by moving the screen up and down carefully by hand I was able to get the picture back.
I think it may be some play in the hinge breaks the contact at the top of the screen.
