Help with DVD player

Hi there, I was wondering if it is possible to listen to the in car DVD player through the car speakers? I have a Sedona SE+ 06 if that makes any difference. I am going away tomorrow with 4 kids in the car so any help is greatly appreciated; many thanks.

yes, but you'll need to do some wiring and maybe buy an interface box depending on what type of stereo head unit you've got. I have a Sony UNIT and rewired it so that the headunit can receive either an input of the DVD sound OR an ipod. Don't use the headphones much any more since I've done that as it's so much less hassle to be able to feed the sound through the head unit...
