Factory install DVD player has no sound

Hi all, new Sedona owner here!

The DVD player, which I belive is a factory fit has no sound and the previous owner just used to use headphones!

There are red and white audio phono jacks coming from the DVD player so they must go somewhere? I thought they might be hooked up as an aux input into the stereo head unit but that doesnt seem to work.

Can anyone help?

My 06 outputs sound through the main speakers using FM channel 88.1
try tuning to frequencies in that range and you will likely find it
