Default 2000 KIA SEDONA S V6 cam belt ?

Hi, just registered to this site from the UK, looks very friendly and informative.
I am considering purchasing a 2000 KIA SEDONA V6 petrol which has broken its comshaft belt, apparently on startup. I know very little little about these cars although am learning a great deal thanx to this site. I have concluded that there could be possible valve contact on this type of engine and so must be prepared to remove the heads. I am finding it difficult to obtain a workshop manual as it seems there were many models world wide and specifically related to countries around the world. Am am seeking advise from anybody with experience relating to replacement of the camshaft belt or is it belts ie 2 of them ? also is there a possibility of servere engine damage caused by the initial belt falure ? and is a head removal job essential. Presuming they are alluminum heads so would probably require skimming.
The sedona has a full LPG conversion and apart from the 7 seater element the dual fuel is probably the main reason for my considering the purchase.
Any advise or helpfull links would be very much appreciated.
Regards
Pete

old post I know...

For the 2.5L petrol,
Broken timing/camshaft belts can result in damage to both cylinder head and piston from broken valves.
Look down the spark plug holes with a borescope before buying....

Tappits/valves may also be frozen, and no other damage except an old belt snapped trying to turn 'em over... Would still need disassembly - check freeplay at crankshaft turning by hand.
