i had the same problem on my 05 van and check for under voltage on the battery and checked the relays, first it would start then not even when warm.so i changed the starter motor with a s/h one [check the parts find sites big dif in price £45 to £120].
you have to do the job from under the van and it takes about 2 hours with removing the air intake air filter box to get at the top nut.
if you need to know how to do the job to will only to please to email the way i went about it [email gareth.walker@blueyonder.co.uk] the problem could be the motor bushers sticking and with colder temps not moving in there casings.

does it cranks ok???? if yes just check what you've got in the tank removing top cover under the seat simple job , i had many times to find a loot of rubbish in the tank which is more likley to thru the filter a end up in the injectors. before removing injector you can check the IMV simply removing from back of the pump and visually check it . its more likley so the valve start sticking and start to bring fault codes P0119, P1120, P0190 which indicates fuel press under tolerance in this case you can start from cleaning IMV ( blow air thru the hole on it)
