Just had the bus (sedona) in for its first M.O.T!
It has FAILED on o/s Hand Brake seized & had a advisory about the steering rack loosing fluid & could be on its way out!!
Garage I used was a non KIA dealer & they said it should be all covered under warranty as the car is not 3 years old till the 30-09-08!
Went to my local KIA dealer & they had asked did it have FULL KIA service I said yes (knowing I don't have) & they said they will need it to photo copy the service book to send to KIA HQ!
Date of registration 30-09-05
Car purchased 11-08-06 (last owner)
Now what I do have is
1,315 Kia service (10k service) 26-09-06
10,489 Kia service (20k serive) 07-09-07
17,790 me oil & filter change 28-04-08
27,991 me oil & filter & air filter change 22-07-08
Car has now done 35,454 miles
So am trying to get the steering rack replaced/fixed & the hand brake cable fixed under warranty! what do you think my chances are? I know they will cast up that's not a full kia service!!
It's going in tomorrow morning & I have to have the service book with me
Not Got FULL KIA Service Can I Still Get Warrenty Work Done?
