can't do it yourself unless you magically have a GDS or a Hi-Scan Pro laying around at your house. take it to the dealer and they can do it in no time.

Has anyone confirmed if or if not the 2008 Sedona can be programmed by the owner?

I tried the older Sedona method of jumping pins 5/17 or 12/16 depending on how the diagram is shown. But location # 16/17 is a dummy hole there is no metal electrical connection in this pin so jumping it is useless.

I used a volt meter and pin 5 has 12 volts to it when the key is turned to the on position....

Thanks for your help!

Justin

You must take it to the dealer or someone who has a GDS equipment.

I did read the post but I also so that in older models it was possible to do this. When I went to kiatechinfo.com they didn't have any updated info on how to program the newer sedona's so I though that it was similar.

The dealer can do many of things that people can DIY it just isn't always stated.
