Default Rear Wheel Hub Torque Setting

I will soon be looking at replacing the rear wheel bearings, does anyone know what torque rating the hub nut needs to be?

Thanks for your help.

Bumpety...bump

Anyone know?

There must have been someone who has changed their rear bearings, if so what torque setting (Nm) did you do the hub nut up to?

Cheers.

Looked for info but couldn't find any i thought you had some tech info?
A mechanic told me years ago when i asked him the exact same question regarding my fiesta rear bearing. "Torque wrenches are for amateurs" was his reply. Tighten it up then slacken it back a quarter turn was his advice, and it worked a treat.
I don't know if torquing up this type of bearing is the right thing to do. Tighten it up and see how it feels.

Well...I've found what i needed.

For anyone else that needs to do this job, the hub nut has to be done up to 27-33Nm.
