Default 2002 Sedona Air Con problem - blower stops working on long hwy trips

the blower and cool air work fine in and around town (all settings 1, 2, 3 & 4) - however, after we've been on a trip (highway) for about 30 min- 1hr, the air conditioner stops (or barely) blows air on any setting (1,2,3,4) - once you stop, let the van sit for a small time and begin driving "in town again", it works fine - until you get back out on the highway - thoughts?

Hi

If its like mine then the blower switch is faulty what happens is the back of the switch gets red hot and melts the rear part of the switch so the back of the switch moves and the contacts inside move therefore making the blower switch off. remove the dashboard cover by unclipping and undo the two screws holding on the switch panel and inspect the rear of the switch or get a replacement etc.

hope this helps

regards

Martin
