I must say my limited contact with Kia in St. Louis have been good. Sure, it is not Acura type service, but they are efficient enough. Two items fixed on my 04 Sedona under warranty - no questions asked.

Welll... I have an 04 Sedona, and bought the dealers extended warranty. They are threatening to not honor any warranty if I bring it back for any of the things it has been there for already. Maybe I just have bad luck, but mine is a complete piece of crap.

I don't understand. If it hasn't been repaired, then you have a legitimate claim against the dealership. Could you explain what you mean? I've never had a problem bringing the car back repeatedly until they got it right - had to do that with a Chrysler Voyager I once owned.

Default kia warranty

where I live, the kia manager at the dealer wants to replace everything in the "routine maintainence" section in the owners manual before looking at anything else.. wants to see proof of my maintainence records before he touches it.... says that kia wants owners to keep up with maintainence to "prevent" problems... in other words he wants to change things that has nothing to do with problems that the vehicle may have... what a d*&K
