Question auto to manual?

it may be possible to take control of your auto box
a while back i had to sort out problems on a jeep auto box which turned out to be computer failure but i believe the sedona uses a similar system with a computer cotroling solenoids on the box if this is the case then the same overide system could be adapted to sedona use giving you full control over your transmission
there are several different adaptions available ranging from a simple switch to manually lock up the torque converter to a piggyback system to allow paddle shift to be used
this may or may not apply to other kia models depending if the transmission uses solenoids to control shifting
the info is on various jeep forums listed as aw4 conversions but if anyone is interested i should be able to find the websites again and post them here
mind you everything i am saying could be of no use at all

Sounds very intresting, I have a 2005 SE+ 2.9 CRDI with auto box,and I find that it changes down far to quick so some way of over ride would be a boost.
Any info would be welcome.

the info is in a lot of jeep forums under the cherokee sections but a couple of starting points are
http://www.greatlakesxj.com/tech/aw4shiftmod.html
http://jeepforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=273048
http://awshifting.com/index.html
i dont have a clue as to if this tech can be applied to a sedona but i believe the sedona possibly uses a similar system but i could (and probably am) wrong
