Default carnival 2000 will not start

engine will not start been told that the starter moter is gone
(1) how do i locate the starter motor on the car
(2) is there a way to make sure it is the starter motor not something else
help!!!!!!

With the heater, radio, etc. turned off, do you hear anything when you try to crank it (besides possible cooling fan noise)? If you hear clicking, it could also be a low battery.

Did the person that told you it's the starter look at the van?

thanks for the concern darter i manage to repair the starter moter which is located in front of the radiator down against the engine .Anyway pulled out the motor gave the solonoide a tap then pulled the back of the motor of were i noticed the conecters were not springing out cleaned all the gung out put it back together of i went
ps:carefull of the ballbering at the end of the coil
