Default A little of the KV6 history over here on the Austin Rover Forum

Hi there everyone, I thought some of you may like a little background information on the KV6 Petrol engine that went into the Sedona/Carnival range.

I found quite a good interview with one of the castings engineers Duncan Gough.

heres the URL you may have to search for the Kia Kv6 page as its very difficult to make a direct link to it.

Very interesting article, first I've heard of the KV6 being a "Joint Venture". Real shame that it was largely unreliable & dropped just as the issues seemed to be fixed. Ours was certainly just getting better & better as it ran up km. It was on 43 000 km when we traded up to our Grand. I still say I'd love to try that motor out in a Rio or Cerato, a la the MG-ZT.
