Default CRDi fuel pump

I am getting conflicting information on a 2002 Sedona with the common rail diesel fitted.

How many fuel pumps does it have? I have looked at the high pressure one driven via a belt from the engine. Several posts claim there is a secondary supply pump. Where is it? If you remove the fuel tank plate in the floor of the vehicle there is a sender unit for the fuel gauge; no pump in the tank. Are these posts incorrect? I believe there is only one high pressure pump but would be interested to hear from others!

Im sorry but I believe there is a lift pump inside the tank, like modern fuel injected petrol engined vehicles. I've got the Lucas Delphi full fuel injection system diagrams in my workshop to replace the injection system after metal contamination, I'll double check tomorrow and let you know for definite!

According to the Kia tech site, there is a fuel pump in the tank, a lift pump (feed pump) "included in the housing of the HP pump" and the High Pressure pump itself.

Thanks to everyone who has replied so far.
I was hoping that there was a second pump in the tank but I agree with Cyprian that there is probably one. I have the metal in the fuel filter and one injector working. I have used the Bosch diagnostic machine, each injector is firing correctly, the high pressure pump is delivering fuel at the correct pressure(I have two sedonas and both pumps read the same, one runs, one does not!). So i fear the high pressure pump is breaking up. I have a quote of £75 for each injector (new) but don't want to recontaminate them. Any suggestions? I think I need a new pump as well.
