Default 2004 Sedona

I am new Kia Sedona owner. I just bought a used 2004 Sedona with 47000 mi and I have couple of basic questions.

1. What rpm are any of you other 04 Sedona owners vans running at? I am seeing 1900 around 55mph.

2. What kind of mpg are you seeing with your 04's? My first tank mostly city driving was 16mpg.

Thanks,

Brian

They're about all the same on the highway. 02-05 3.5's have the same gear ratio, same trans, etc.

Gas mileage varies, but generally sucks overall. I think my '05 gets around 19 or so on the highway with A/C, and probably 15ish in the city with A/C.

Interestingly, I got BETTER miles per gallon pulling a 4000ish pound dual axle trailer cross country early last year.

Sounds good. I just wanted to check with some folks out there and make sure what I was seeing was normal. I like to use the mpg as my warning light for other problems.

I am sure that I will have other questions.

Later,

Brian

I have an 04 Sedona. GREAT car. My wife and I were thinking about getting a 2700 lb. camper and was wondering if anyone had any experience with pulling, and toughness of the drive train? It says in the book that it's rated at 3500 lbs. but cant seem to find what the axle ratio is. How does one find what the axle ration is? Thanks, Stash
