Hi did you do it your self or did a dealer/mechanic do it, because if they did it then have them fix it.
The engine is EFI it does not have a carburetter.
The car probably has an immobiliser but it should be totally unaffected by the engine overhaul.
If you did the engine overhaul yourself then you need to start troubleshooting the system, starting at the basics, checking for fuel, and ignition.
If you establish that it has both then you may need to look for things like a mis-installed timing belt.
Pull any front ignition lead and put a spare spark plug in it lay it on a metal part of the engine, have an assistant turn the key you should see a regular spark whilst the engine is cranking.
If not then troubleshoot the ignition.
Next get a multimeter and remove one injector electrical plugs, insert the probes in the connector and now have your assistant again turn the key, you should see a voltage pulse.
If you have both a spark and a injector pulse you have confirmed a number of things (one of which is the immobiliser has correctly disarmed).
Next step is to either get a fuel pressure guage and install it in the engine manifold to measure if you have fuel pressure.
Or get a injector out of the manifold and see that fuel is spraying.
If you confirm that you have fuel and ignition then check for miss timed camshafts.
Most of all Have fun.
