Question Auto door locks

I have purchased a New 2006 Sedona But note no Automatic Door looks. I have called Kia Cust. Service and they claim that the Sedona does not come with them. I note the Hyundai Version(Entourage) which is on the same platform does have this feature. I am concerned from a safety standpoint as I have grand childen. My Hyundai Sonata did not have th auto feature when I purchased it but I complained to the Dealer and within 20 mins the car was fixed.
Believe this i sjust a programming situation.
How do I get this corrected as the Dealer cliams not to have a fix???

Please advise.

Default Did Anyone Answer???

I have same situation. 07 Sedona EX and want to activate auto-door locks. If you look in the service manual section of the kia site, you can see that there is a reference to the auto-door lock, which is second in priority to the crash detection unlocking.

Has anyone had any luck getting it programmed???

Default Update:

I stopped by the service department to get my oil filters and afterwards, I asked the service reps about this. One of the guys said that he should be able to do it, he did it on one of he personally owned vehicles. He said that they usually come with options on when the locks engage. He told me to bring it by and he would give it a shot. I asked how much it would be and they said they would fix it for me, that was until they found out I did not buy it from THEIR theiving sales floor and bought it in a different town. Then the story went to, "It would only take about 20 minutes, so it would be charged as an hour of diagnostic time on the computer" which means around $80 to fix. I am gonna try to get it to the place I bought it and get them to do it. It is just so far out of the way tho. I'll let you know what happens.
