No throttle by wire technology right? (hope not)

AFAIK, it's not throttle by wire. I think the redline is at 6,000 RPM. But, I'm going from memory so 6,250 might be right.

Thats awsome!
(your sure on that right?)

By any chance, you wouldnt happen to know more of the following would ya? (or if you know of a place where i can find this info)

cast iron or aluminum pistons. . . also compression ratio
forged rods or non forged
forged crank (like mitsu's) or non forged
TB size

i know im probably asking way too much lol, but im looking to be dropping one of these in a mitsu. Just need some specs first.

Sorry about that. It's an iron block with aluminum heads. Compression is 10.0:1.

That's about all I can help you with.

Dragon,

I was cruising on this site, and while it does not have your exact information, you might be able to find something that indicates that they are the same.

There is a reference to "sigma 3.5" as far as the block and transaxle, and I know downunder this was a name of a mitsubishi. But that might just be the code for the motor.

Anyway here is the site

Iron block, aluminum heads. Compression ratio is 10.0:1.

Rods are forged steel, unknown what pistons are made from, though I would guess hypereutectic since just about every manufacturer is using them now a days.

Crank is also forged steel.

I believe the TB is 55mm, but couldn't find the book so I'm not sure on that one.
