TBH I don't have a clue about whether the Sedona has Glow plugs or not. But in my opinion I'd say there isn't any these days, Everything like starting is determined by the Computer so it may do something else like retard timing or some such.

Im thinking of adding an in line filter before the normal fuel filter, is it just a case of cutting the pipe and bunging an ILF in netween the gap

If it is which cable is it as there are 3 IIRC on the top of the normal FF

why would you would wish to fit an inline filter as you already have proper filter in the fuel line, most aftermarket ones are too small poorly made and only filter out medium to large rocks the only reasons to change that i can think off would be to fit one with a heater element (to warm the veggie)or to fit a housing which is used on something with a wider aftermarket supply (cheaper filter) but if you wish to fit additional filtration the hose with the squeezy bulb is the supply one

you really seem to have been bitten by the alternative fuels bug have you investigated water/steam injection this was something all the rage back in the 70s. another fuel additive (as far as i can remember) is methylated spirits used to draw any water out of diesel

Hiya Glenn,

I actually bought an old corsa diesel last night for 350 to do my experimenting with apparently they have an Isuzu (sp) engine very good for high blends, need to source some WVO now

and old corsa to experiment on? is that veggie experiments or diy? filters etc still put another brew in today about 25% still running fine
does owning a corsa mean you have to get yourself a back to front baseball cap burberry overalls and some bling yo dude
source of wvo? you really are getting into veggie motoring

bit of both really but mainly so as not to shaft the sedona up, the Corsa is currently running on 100% SVO ...not entirely smooth starting but once its going its fine , serviced it also

next step would be to source some wvo and learn how to filter it properly

the last tank on the sedona managed 550 miles on the above ratios a few posts up although when my Acetone arrived I shoved some of that in tank had approx .25 left when I added a cap full, previous best was just under 500, make of that what you will
