Default DTE/Miles left on tank readout just shows "----" after fillup

Restarting car doesnt help and I tried to reset it. It was working fine on the first two fillups. Any ideas? This is on our newly bought 04 Sedona EX

I have had this issue occasionally on my 04 - usually when I put as much gas in the tank as I can. I find that once that tank has gone down a bit, it will start to read correctly again. A couple of times it has taken until the next fillup to correct itself.
No idea as to the cause - maybe a 'stuck' sensor, or and over-full reading that confuses the computer.

I never had this problem. When I got my '02, the entire trip computer was toast. I put in a replacement used one and that fixed the problem. the DTE was interesting but I never felt it was very accurate.
