Default Injector Retaining Clamp Issue

Hi All
I was wondering if anyu of you had heard of this before.

I had my Sedona serviced as usual and was inform the technician had discovered a fuel leak. This meant the Injector clamp bolts and washers were repalced.

6 days later I had an injector retaining clamp fail causing the engine to sound like a bucket of bolts and making the car undriveable.

Eventually got it sorted but the dealer refuses to help due to bulletin No UP050/009, Combustion Gas leaking past injector seals.

I maintain that they should have replaced the clamps as well thry dont. Any views or ideas?

Thank you for that. I currently have a small claims case against the garage that did the work. As part of his defense he has submitted the bulletin from Kia which sort of kills my case. My only chance is if Kia agree that new injector retaining clamps should have been fitted but these are not mentioned ont he bulletin. It'll cost another £100 just to pursue the case to the next stage. Ho hum what to do? The garage is also no longer a Kia dealer, just a specialist

New clamps do not need to be fitted, the critical item is the modified bolt.
Going purely by your first post, given I've done one or 2 of these, it's shoddy work by dealer, fuel does not leak from the seals on the bottom of the injector, can only leak at the top, so to replace bolts, and copper washers for a fuel leak is very suss imho.
