2016 Sedone wheels

Hi all, Picked up a 2016 Sedona LX two weeks ago not new only 3K miles on it...Carfax shows as a one owner vehicle, not rental, from Martha's Vineyard, kinda odd to me to have a vehicle 4 months and trade it in but it all seems in good shape and has the remainder of the factory Warr so Im ok with it for now... FYI picked it up for just over $20K ($20800) so I figured I was getting a pretty good deal.

Anyway, the Kuhmo tires do leave something to be desired for winter driving, and I will probably try to limp through this winter with them but would like to pick up a set of steel wheels and winter tires for next year. Does anyone here know what wheels will fit, preferable from other more common models like a serento or ... I would let my local car recyclers know what I am looking for and they will keep an eye out for me.

You can buy steel wheels from TireRack with or without snow tires mounted if you so wish.

Is there one big enough to clear the brakes, though? I ended up buying cheap rims for my winter set as I couldn't manage to find any steelies.

TireRack guarantees their fitments and does not sell a wheel that they have not verified will clear factory brakes and suspension.

Thank you for that, but at $70 per wheel for a steel rim...a little pricy for me...There are quite a few auto recyclers around here and they avg $15-20 per wheel..even if I got a bad one there is still a good savings.

there just don't seem to be many of these newer sedonas around here yet...does this rim size fit anything else Kia makes?

There are actually quite a few rims that would fit from Kia or other manufacturers. According to what I can find, the bolt pattern is 5x114.3mm with a 67.1mm center bore.

Here is a site that shows a bunch of matching 5x114.3mm rims. However, you have to manually look through to see which ones have the right center bore diameter. You would also need to pay attention to the offset/backspacing.

I think your best bets would be:

Hyundai Sante Fe or Veracruz
Jeep Patriot
Mazda 3, 6, CX-7 or CX-9

Those would probably be fairly plentiful at a salvage yard. You might also have good luck searching Craigslist for a set of wheels for one of those models. For example, this set would probably work although your speedo would run a little fast

Oh, and keep in mind that you may want to buy a set of TPMS sensors, otherwise you'll have a low tire pressure warning on your dash all winter.

Tire Rack sells and installs those if you buy a full set.
