Trailer wiring problems

Hi, you may be able to help. Do you know what the load that the wiring harness for the towing connections(parking lights,brakes etc)Ie i am having trouble with caravan lights,the van has been fully rewired and works on other car but when connected to Carnival the parking lights stay on for a minute or two then go out.If i disconnent trailer plug and test circuit there is power from the Carni, but reconnect and power only lasts a minute then cuts out again?? Is there an overload protection on the cabling or something? I am stuck and connot find any other solutuion. Hope ya's can help. Chicken

yes I also had this problem.sorry can't remember how auto elect repaired it????? at least you know your along.
