Default Cabin Air Filter replacement

I am having some difficulty finding a cabin air filter for our '06 Sedona 3.8 (US). The usual local parts chain stores have it in their catalog, but no stock, not even from a warehouse.

One online source also had this issue. Is this a dreaded dealer-only part? The manual states this has a 10K replacement interval.

Thank you.

Believe it is a Dealer only item. Changing at 10K don't think so as it can be cleaned.

I clean mine with the vacume but be sure to get in between the pleats.
Don;'t believe you will find it any other place but a kia dealer as it is too new.

Here is the PR they charged $34.00 at the dealer.... can you believe it. Also, it is located behind the glove box - very easy to change. Not sure why you would want to vacuum a hepa filter. You should replace with a new one.

My gosh $34 is cheap from your dealer in PR. Our dealer charged us $59 for the filter and pestered us to have it replaced until we gave in. Then they charged us another $15 to install it. Two months later they phoned and said it needed replacing again. My father answered the call and told them to go ahead and do it because he didn't realize it was already replaced earlier.

Has never fixed the knocking noise from the interior fan when it is switched off.

Bought a charcoal cabin air filter off ebay. Came shipped directly from Korea.

ALso bought one for my Santa Fe at the same time. With shipping, they were about $21 each.

Quality was good and drop it fit.

If you really want to go cheap, you can make your own from home air filter. Buy the biggest size (25x40?) - as they are all the same price - and you'll have enough material to make several filters.
