oil filter cap

I have the 2006 Sedona. Has anyone changed the oil filter themselves? Is it reverse threaded? I looked at the manual ( Global Service Way ) and it says to turn clockwise to remove the filter. However, I've already broken 2 Kobalt strap wrenches turning it clockwise. It turned slightly each time before the handle broke (with a cheater bar). I had it changed once at the dealer at 1200 mi. and now want to change it with a full synth. oil. There is an arrow that points clockwise on the oil filter cap and says 25 N-m right below it, but it doesn't indicate if that direction is to open or close the filter. TIA.

It'll be anti-clockwise.
The instructions on the top will be to tighten to 25nm, so not to over tighten in.
