I installed my own at Advance Auto and they loaned me the tools to do it! The car had died in the Walgreens drive through next door, not enough battery juice to start. My fault, I had been ignoring the battery even though the engine seemed to be turning over slower and slower when I went to start it. Finally it just up and died on me on what was thankfully a very pleasant November evening.
One of the guys from Advance Auto Parts came over and jump started me. Before I walked over there though, I bought the battery I needed from my phone using an online discount code good for $35 off! haha.
My battery was stamped November 11, which was the same month that I bought it in.
Sorry, I don't know where to look on your battery though. You might have to pull it back out to see if there are additional manufacturing codes on the side or the bottom. There is one nice thing about the Kia battery though, it has a great handle on top of it. The Advance Auto Parts battery did not have that feature, which made it more difficult to install.

Reason: added bit about the kia battery handle.
